Hyderabad: Directing officials to expedite disposal of pending applications and priority works, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) commissioner G Srijana called for maintaining transparency and accountability in service deliver.The commissioner held a comprehensive review meeting with zonal commissioners, the chief city planner, and other officials on Thursday to assess the progress of key civic and developmental initiatives being undertaken across the corporation.Srijana reviewed the status of disposal of Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) applications, building permission applications processed through the BuildNow system, TDR applications, pending court cases, grievance redressal mechanisms, removal of encroachments, and land acquisition matters related to road widening projects.Officials were instructed to strengthen inter-departmental coordination, ensure effective field-level monitoring, and proactive addressal of issues requiring immediate attention.Reviewing road widening and encroachment removal initiatives, the commissioner directed the departments concerned to coordinate closely and resolve bottlenecks to facilitate the timely execution of infrastructure projects aimed at improving urban mobility and civic amenities.
