Pathankot: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday concluded a three-day search operation in connection with alleged illegal sand mining on shamlat land under Gol panchayat.Sources said ED teams examined property records, income-related documents and other business records at nearly six locations. They also reportedly collected digital data from laptops, though this could not be officially confirmed.The agency is learnt to have focused on a disputed 92-acre land parcel, carrying out a physical survey over two days and seeking reports from the authorities on mining activity at the site.The search operation has concluded and the teams have left. The ED, however, had not issued an official statement till the filing of the report.
