Kolkata: ED on Thursday summoned Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, in the agency’s financial irregularities case against him. Ghosh has been asked to appear before the agency on Nov 10, sources said.ED had earlier summoned Ghosh on Nov 4. Ghosh did not appear citing illness and sought 15 days’ time. A fresh notice was issued to him on Thursday.Ghosh was granted conditional bail in Oct after spending two years in jail in CBI’s financial irregularities case against him.ED filed a charge sheet at the CBI special court earlier this year naming Ghosh and two businessmen close to him, Suman Hazra and Ashraf Ali, as accused.
