Transport commissioner Ashutosh Niranjan has taken action against ten Passenger and Goods Tax Officials
Lucknow: Transport commissioner Ashutosh Niranjan has initiated departmental disciplinary proceedings against 10 Passenger and Goods Tax officers for poor performance in achieving compounding fee targets.A review of enforcement activities for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, covering April to June 2026, found that several officers had taken negligible action against the targets set during the period.The officers facing action are Rajesh Singh Kushwaha (Maharajganj), Madan Chandra (Balrampur), Keki Mishra (Prayagraj), Pradeep Kumar Srivastava (Basti), Anita Verma (Chandauli), Narendra Vikram Singh (Mahoba), Vikrant Singh (Raebareli), Rani Sengar (Ayodhya), Pramod Kumar (Jaunpur) and Vijay Kishore Anand (Agra).
