NEW DELHI: The Delhi Cabinet on Tuesday approved the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, under which eligible women in the national capital will receive financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month.The scheme, one of the BJP’s key promises ahead of last year’s Delhi Assembly elections, is expected to benefit over 17 lakh women. - Women receiving benefits under another financial assistance scheme or pension
- Income tax payers and GST return filers
- Government, PSU or other government organisation employees, or families with a member employed in such organisations
- Families owning a four-wheeler
- Families with annual electricity consumption above 2,400 units
- Women with more than three living children
- Women with a criminal record
