Bengaluru: A cow had a narrow escape after falling into a nearly 10-foot-deep BWSSB chamber left open on busy Food Street in VV Puram late Saturday evening.According to locals, BWSSB had left the chamber open without replacing the cover, posing a danger to commuters and animals. The cow remained trapped for nearly four to five hours before locals noticed it and alerted the police and fire services. Firefighters rushed to the spot and rescued the animal. VV Puram police said no official complaint had been filed.
