Varanasi: BJP national president Nitin Nabin attacked the Congress on Wednesday, saying the prince of its royal family enters politics on the strength of inheritance, while Narendra Modi was projected before the people as the prime ministerial candidate and reached Delhi with their mandate after proving himself in public life.Addressing a public meeting at Jagatpur College ground in Rohaniya at the conclusion of the Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra, Nabin accused the opposition of trying to create anarchy in the country. He said the people of India would give a reply to such a mindset and would not allow its purpose to succeed.Welcoming the riders who travelled from Vadnagar to Kashi to mark 25 years of Modi’s public service, he said the youths visited villages, served people, held dialogues and discussed govt schemes. He called the occasion a moment to reaffirm the resolve for a developed India.Describing Modi as a history-maker, Nabin said only a leader capable of turning the pages of history, creating new chapters and changing lives could earn the place where Modi stands today. Referring to Gujarat, he said the debris of Kachchh became the foundation of reconstruction, and Modi dedicated himself to taking the state to the global stage.Nabin said India was engulfed in despair in 2014, but Modi awakened hope among youths, turning them from job seekers into job providers. He cited the abolition of triple talaq, India’s rise among the world’s top economies, houses for over four crore beneficiaries under PM Awas Yojana, action against Naxalism, Make in India, and the cleanliness mission as markers of change.Questioning the opposition over infiltrators, he said those who snatch others’ rights would not be protected. He credited Modi’s vision and chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership with transforming Uttar Pradesh.
