Cong gears up grassroots campaign against BJP in Charkhi Dadri

Charkhi Dadri: Haryana Congress president Rao Narender Singh and state in-charge Sanjay Dutt on Thursday called on party workers to strengthen the organisation at the booth level and intensify the political campaign against the BJP govt.At a workers’ meeting for the Badhra and Dadri assembly constituencies, held at Dehati Thaat Vatika, Dutt urged cadres to build a “collective struggle” to oust what he called an “anti-people” govt. He accused the BJP of politics based on caste and religion and asked workers to take Congress policies to every household.Dutt also urged workers to stay engaged with the SIR campaign and protect voters’ rights.Rao Narender alleged that the BJP govt was “harassing” youth, farmers, labourers, traders and govt employees. He said protests were being held across Haryana and asked Congress workers to join such movements and raise people’s issues.The meeting was chaired by district Congress president Sushil Dhanak. Leaders and workers also paid floral tributes to former Haryana CM Bansi Lal on his 99th birth anniversary.Rao called for unity among workers and referred to Rahul Gandhi’s campaign on issues concerning the rights of young people, urging cadres to amplify these concerns.
