Ahmedabad: On Monday, Ahmedabad municipal commissioner Banchha Nidhi Pani visited various approach roads connecting to the Sabarmati Ashram as the Gandhi Ashram redevelopment project gathers pace. A detailed review was conducted regarding the development works to be undertaken to make the routes leading to the ashram more organised, attractive and citizen-friendly. The civic chief inspected the existing infrastructure, traffic management and potential opportunities for beautification. He gave directions to the officials concerned to prepare plans in this regard and accelerate the pace of work.
