Jaipur: Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully Thursday questioned the Rajasthan govt’s stand on the funding pattern of Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar & Aajeevika Mission (VB-GRAMG) law, alleging that even BJP-ruled states have raised concerns over the financial burden of the scheme that replaced MGNREGA.Jully said BJP-ruled Bihar and Madhya Pradesh have also questioned the scheme’s funding pattern and said 40% interim allocation to be borne by states is insufficient to sustain the promised 125 days of rural employment.“When BJP-ruled states themselves have raised questions over the financial burden and practical ground reality of this new scheme, then in what deception is the Rajasthan govt keeping the people of the state?” he asked.
