Gorakhpur: BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan celebrated his 57th birthday on Friday with visually impaired students at Sparsh Govt Inter College in Gorakhpur, distributing Miyazaki mangoes and stationery items.The Gorakhpur MP began the day by offering prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple before visiting the school. The students welcomed him by singing the popular birthday song “Baar Baar Din Ye Aaye.”The interaction turned lively as Kishan spoke with the children about films. Several students enthusiastically recalled scenes and songs from his hit film Raja Babu, drawing an animated response from the actor-politician.Kishan said he felt privileged to celebrate his birthday with children whom he described as possessing “the greatest vision of all”. He said that despite being visually impaired, they displayed exceptional determination, talent and inner strength.Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s use of the term divyangjan for persons with disabilities, Kishan highlighted various govt welfare schemes aimed at supporting their education and empowerment. He praised the students for their achievements and expressed confidence in their future.During the interaction, Kishan also spoke about his upcoming film projects and discussed the acclaimed movie Laapataa Ladies with the students.
