Varanasi: With an atmosphere adorned with victory banners, crowds swaying with waves of jubilation, and Rohania reverberating with victory chants, BJP workers celebrated the party’s landslide victory in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry on Monday.The BJP workers fed each other sweets, while the earthy aroma of jhalmuri added a unique Bengali flavour to the celebrations. This confluence of joy, felicitation and festivity continued late into the evening.
Regional president Dilip Patel congratulated the workers and said that this historic victory is the result of the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the astute strategy of Union home minister Amit Shah, and the tireless hard work of the workers. Bengal will now enter a new era of developmentalism, good governance and peace.
