Bengaluru: Staffers from a hoysala police vehicle traced a seven-year-old girl who went missing from her Chikkagollarahatti residence in Byadarahalli on April 16 afternoon. The mother was seen searching for the girl around 12.15pm, and on noticing her, the public called police control room (112). The task was handed over to hoysala-93 manned by ASI Shivanna and constable Shivaraj. The hoysala staffers interacted with the girl’s mother and learnt that the girl, who was playing outside her house a little earlier, was missing. “There were a few other children who were playing with her and when questioned, they told the mother that the girl went ahead. Quickly, we reached a few shops on the road where the children were playing and scanned the CCTV footage. They helped us in tracing the girl and her movement. The girl, in search of other children who were playing in a nearby park, walked away and lost her way. Around 45 minutes later, she was found near a shop about a kilometre ahead. Even the shop owner had noticed that the girl was alone and was questioning her when we reached,” Byadarahalli police said.
