Bengaluru: A local court Friday remanded 37-year-old designer Anurag Tiwari, arrested on charges of firing from his airgun, to 14-day judicial custody in the central prison.Tiwari, from Lucknow, who works as a senior designer at Bridgestone Global Capability Centre in Whitefield, lived on the third floor of the Sipani Bliss apartment complex, Anekal. Standing on his balcony around 2.30 am Thursday, Tiwari, allegedly in an inebriated condition, aimlessly fired for over 40 minutes from his airgun. The FIR accuses Tiwari of firing on security personnel when they tried to stop him. Later, Tiwari confessed to police that he was frustrated over personal issues and carried out the act in an inebriated condition.Meanwhile, Bridgestone India clarified that Tiwari is not an employee of the company or its Bridgestone Select channel partner.
