Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar hit back at BRS working president KT Rama Rao over his ‘bouncer’ remark, saying his political rise was through hard work while KTR entered politics using his father’s name.“Yours is management quota, ours is merit quota,” Bandi said, taking a dig at KTR for entering politics by invoking his father, former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s name.Bandi said he had reached his present position facing police lathi charges and participating in long struggles for public causes. He said he had risen from the grassroots level as a party worker and sought to contrast his political journey with that of KTR.
