Jaipur: Padmanabh Singh struck half a dozen goals to power Team Jaipur to triumph in the RPC Cup tournament (4-goal), being held as part of the September Jaipur Polo Season, at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground here on Monday.The final, which was played under floodlights, was dominated by Team Jaipur from the word go as they registered a thumping 11-6 victory over Team Rambagh/Mayfair Polo.

Besides Padmanabh’s 6 goals, Kuldeep Singh Rathore (3) and Vishwaraj Singh Rathore (2) were the other goal scorers. Akshai Malik was also part of Team Jaipur.Hurr Ali fought hard with 3 goals, while Pratap Singh Kanota added a couple of goals. Sidhant Singh chipped in with a goal. Anay Shah was the fourth member of Team Rambagh/Mayfair Polo.The night polo match witnessed tremendous enthusiasm among spectators, with a large number of people turning up at the Rajasthan Polo Club to watch the game.

On the occasion, Padmanabh stated, “A large number of spectators turned up to watch the night polo match today, which reflects the popularity of polo among people. Night polo matches will now be organised every Thursday and Saturday.”RPC Cup-II (4-goal) matches to begin from Tuesday

The second tournament of the September Jaipur Polo Season 2026, the RPC Cup-II (4-goal), will begin from Tuesday. The first matches of the tournament will be played on Tuesday (Sept 8), at PPC Ground No. 3. The first match will be played at 4pm between Team Rambagh/Kanota/Mayfair Polo and Team Mayfair Polo Estate. The second match will be played at 5pm between Team V Polo and Team RPC-CAV.
