Gandhinagar: Union home minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the 11th Interpol Digital Forensic Expert Group (DFEG) meeting on Monday at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Gandhinagar.Delegates from 47 countries, including officials of law enforcement agencies, will participate in the meeting, an official statement said. Chief minister Bhupendra Patel and deputy chief minister Harsh Sanghavi will be attend the inauguration.NFSU will unveil a Centre of Excellence in Financial Crime Investigation, a Centre of Excellence in Media Forensics and a Centre of Excellence in Crime Scene Management at the event, govt said.Asia’s first fully equipped mobile forensic laboratory with cutting-edge digital forensic capabilities, developed in India by NFSU, will also be showcased at the event, which will include an exhibition of companies working in advanced digital forensics and cyber security technologies.
