Ahmedabad: The registration process for postgraduate admissions in technical and pharmacy colleges across Gujarat has begun and will continue until May 30. The admission committee has initiated the exercise for various Master’s degree courses, including Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Master of Planning (MPlan), and Master of Architecture (MArch).At present, around 7,800 seats are available in 81 engineering colleges offering ME programmes. There is a possibility of one new college being added this year, which could further raise the seat count. Similarly, in the MPharm stream, 65 colleges are offering about 2,887 seats, and nearly nine new colleges are expected to receive approval, potentially increasing intake. However, the exact number of additional seats will be confirmed by the committee later.For MPlan, 10 institutes offered 290 seats last year, while MArch had 34 seats across two colleges. No significant increase in the number of colleges is expected for these courses. Registration for MPlan will continue until May 30, while for MArch it will remain open until July 7.The registration process for ME and MPharm is completely online. In contrast, candidates applying for MPlan and MArch must download the application form from the official website and submit it offline at the admission committee office.Detailed information on seat availability and courses will be updated on the official website during the admission process.
