Ahmedabad: AMC’s Health Department on Thursday inspected construction sites across the city as part of measures to curb vector-borne diseases. Mosquito breeding was found at several locations. The civic body sealed nine construction sites, issued notices to 80 others and collected penalties totalling Rs 2.8 lakh.The sealed sites include Athithi Prime in Vatva, Zainab in Lambha, Shreeji Palace in Vastral, Satya Pride in Nikol, Aerozone and Copran Green in Gota, Kautilya 220 in Thaltej, Aristo Aayam in Bodakdev and Al Ahmad Pacific in Sarkhej.AMC health officer Bhavin Solanki said: “The drive will continue and strict action will be taken against sites where mosquito breeding is found.”
