Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad International Book Festival-2026 ended at the Sabarmati Riverfront Event Centre, drawing large crowds and strong sales during its nine-day run from Oct 24 to Nov 1, said AMC officials.According to AMC, which jointly organised the festival with National Book Trust, the event recorded more than 4 lakh visitors, while book sales are estimated to have crossed Rs 5 crore.AMC said 191 exhibitors participated this year, setting up 498 stalls across the venue.Citing a preliminary survey and feedback from exhibitors, AMC said the response to the fair was encouraging. Across nine days, 111 scheduled sessions were held under seven literary and cultural tracks.Authors’ Corner also hosted 13 sessions featuring 31 authors and guests during the closing phase of the festival.
