38th National Police Training Symposium of heads of all Police Training Directorates and Institutions
The 38th Training Symposium was organized at the Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Ghaziabad, on 2-3 June on the theme “Sharing of Best Practices in Police Training” by the Bureau of Police Research and Development. MoS Mome, Sh Nityanand Rai, inaugurated the Training Symposium of Heads of all Police Training Directorates and Institutions on the 2nd of June, 2022, at 1000 hrs, in the presence of DG, BPR&D, Sh Balaji Srivastava. MoS Home, Sh Ajay Kumar Mishra delivered the valedictory address today at 1700 hrs. 100 delegates from across the country, from the Sp to DG level, senior police officers of BPR&D, eminent personalities, and leading academicians attended the Symposium.
During the 2-day Symposium, subject experts, training experts from Universities and Institutes of higher learning, as well as private sectors, were invited. The resolution adopted in the symposia will help the training institution to develop the roadmap for police training
The following topics were deliberated during these two days, apart from 10 break-out sessions, syndicate discussions, and presentations, Marketing Brand Police, What Ails Training,, Demilitarizing Police Training: Attitude & Skill Sets ,Developing Specialists,, Sharing Best Practices: Ideas to fruition.
DG BPRD in his welcome address gave a brief of the deliberation and resolutions adopted in the symposium and expressed happiness over the active participation of the delegates.
The two-day Symposium was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Sh. Neeraj Sinha ADG BPRD.
