Pune: The Kharadi police have booked a sweeper on charge of murdering his 32-year-old wife at their residence late on Tuesday over some domestic issues.Senior inspector Sanjay Chavan of Kharadi police, while talking to TOI, said, “We have identified the deceased as Kiran Jalaram Babar. Her husband, who works as a sweeper, fled from their home during the early hours of Wednesday.”He added, “The couple, who hail from Madhya Pradesh, have been staying in the city for the past six years. Kiran used to work as a maid in the Kharadi area.”On Tuesday night, the couple got into an argument that later turned violent. “Kiran’s husband then picked up a sharp weapon in the house and stabbed her to death,” Chavan said.
