70% resolved: Amit Shah as Assam, Meghalaya sign pact over decades-old border row

Assam and Meghalaya on Tuesday signed an agreement to resolve the 50-year-old boundary dispute between their states. The chief ministers of the two states – Himanta Biswa Sarma and Conrad Sangma – signed the agreement in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the chief secretaries of the two states and other officials of the Home Ministry.
