Jaipur: The state health department has banned the distribution, sale and display of 16 unsafe packaged food products and suspended licences of 13 food firms after inspections under the “Shuddh Aahar Milawat Par Waar” campaign.Health and medical education principal secretary Gayatri Rathore said intensive inspections were conducted in May and June 2026 across Alwar, Jaipur, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Jodhpur, Jalore, Rajsamand, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner and other districts. Laboratory tests found several packaged food items, including products of reputed brands, unsafe.Food commissioner T Shubhamangala said the banned products include Madhu Saras Ghee and Dairy Anmol Ghee by Avery Dairy Traders, Delhi; Dairy Bright Ghee by Krishna Food Products, Delhi; Shagun Brand Mixture All In One Namkeen by Bikaner Food Products; Prema Brand Ghee by Mahadev Food Products, Hisar; Vandhu Brand Buffalo Ghee and Cow Ghee by Leo Dry Fruits and Spices Trading Ltd, Navi Mumbai; Tansen Brand Pan Masala by Trimurti Fragrance Pvt Ltd, Delhi; Topper Brand Milk Fat by Ajay Food Products, Jodhpur; Marwar Ki Shaan-Saras Brand Ghee by Jai Maa Ashapuri, Jalore; Shri Aahar Brand Ghee by Mohit Jain, Jodhpur; Shubh Brand Ghee by Shri Veer Milk Products Honey Industry, Surat; Dhenushri Brand Ghee by Dhenushri Dairy Products, Jodhpur; and Solanki Mishthan Bhandar Brand Namkeen, Jodhpur.Licences were suspended after loose food samples were found unsafe. These include units selling or manufacturing paneer, ice candy, pista cutting, used cooking oil, marinated chicken, bajra, saunf, mawa and ghee in Alwar, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Rajsamand, Dholpur and Hanumangarh.
