Noida: A 50-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by two of his neighbours on Thursday night after they got into a heated argument. Police said locals found his body just 200m from his house.According to ADCP (Central Noida) Swatantra Singh, locals called the emergency helpline number 112, alleging that a man was found with a bullet wound to the head in Achheja Chapraula, Badalpur.When cops reached the spot, they found Jeevan Kishor, who runs a dairy, dead at the spot and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. Investigation showed that two of Kishor’s neighbours, Vishal Kashyap and Vicky, had visited Kishor around 9pm on Thursday in an intoxicated state.The accused called Kishor outside and, at some point, Kishor got into a heated argument with the duo, and the accused shot him before fleeing, police said.Kishor’s family told cops that he was close friends with the two accused and they did not know of any enmity between the two. Police said they are still trying to determine the reason behind the argument and the motive for the murder.An FIR has been registered against the accused under Section 103 (murder) of the BNS at Badalpur police station. “Five teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects, and further investigation is underway,” the ADCP added.
