Bengaluru: City police Wednesday arrested a 47-year-old man for allegedly passing lewd comments at an 18-year-old girl in Koramangala on the night of April 11. The accused, Sarvesh, is a resident of Koramangala.According to police investigation, Sarvesh, a private company employee, was getting out of his car when the girl walked by. “He passed lewd comments at her. Even after the girl objected, Sarvesh allegedly repeated the comments,” a police officer said.After discussing with her family, the girl filed a complaint with Koramangala police who arrested Sarvesh. “Sarvesh claims he was in an inebriated condition when he saw the girl and passed the comments, thinking it was his daughter,” the officer said.
