Hisar: Police have arrested the father of a 12-year-old boy in connection with the fatal shooting of his classmate in Adampur over alleged negligence in keeping a firearm.The juvenile allegedly involved in the incident has been sent to a child observation home in Faridabad.The Class VII student died after being shot in the forehead at his classmate’s house on Tuesday.Police had registered a murder case against the juvenile under relevant provisions of the Arms Act, based on a complaint by the victim’s father.According to the complaint, the victim was preparing for a school trip scheduled for Oct 17 when his classmate suggested they pack the latter’s bag first. The boy went to his classmate’s house, where he was shot in the forehead.Police said the juvenile had been sent to the observation home earlier. His father was arrested over alleged negligence in keeping the firearm. Further investigation is underway.
