Varanasi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reviewed the preparations for the inauguration of Arvind Mill’s new unit in Mirzamurad, Varanasi. The unit is proposed to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Oct 25.The new unit has been set up on over seven acres of land along the highway near Rupapur Chauraha in Khochwa (Bhadehara) village of Mirzamurad. An investment of Rs 100 crore has been proposed for the project, which is expected to generate employment for more than 1,000 people.Around 300 women who will work in the company are currently undergoing training at the unit. Chief minister Yogi Adityanath also interacted with the women trainees during his inspection.The foundation-laying ceremony for the unit was held on April 25, 2024.
