Yogi, Himanta Offer Prayers at KV, Kaal Bhairav Temples
Varanasi: Before leaving Kashi on Wednesday evening Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples on Wednesday evening.The leaders first visited Kaal Bhairav, revered as Kashi’s Kotwal, where they performed rituals and aarti with devotion. They then proceeded to Kashi Vishwanath temple, entered the sanctum sanctorum, performed the ritual of Jalabhishek amid chanting of Vedic mantras for nation’s happiness, prosperity and public welfare.During the visit, CM Yogi also warmly interacted with children present at the Kaal Bhairav temple and distributed chocolates to them as a gesture of affection and blessings.
