Varanasi: Varanasi will host the two-day Namo Book Fest: Kashi Edition on Wednesday and Thursday at the Rudraksh Convention Centre.Organised by the Council for Media and Public Policy Research (CMPPR), the festival will bring together more than 500 books written in various languages on PM Narendra Modi’s life, leadership, governance model and policy initiatives.The special Kashi edition is being organised to mark PM Modi’s 75th year. Oct 7 has been chosen as it marks the completion of 25 years of PM Modi’s service in constitutional office.The first edition of the festival was held at the Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi and saw participation from thousands of students from Delhi University colleges and nearly 1,000 schools. More than 450 books were displayed across 10 categories.The event also featured the launch of the Gen-V concept, referring to a generation committed to the vision of a developed India.The festival will feature noted authors, policymakers, thinkers and youth icons from India and abroad.
