Kolkata: Unrest broke out around the Bankshall Court complex in central Kolkata on Thursday as protests surrounding the arrest of YouTuber Dipak Byapari turned violent. Byapari was pelted with eggs.A section of lawyers protested against the egg attack and got involved in a skirmish with the attackers outside the courtroom.The protesters had allegedly assaulted three lawyers, who had raised objections to the egg attack.The advocates had chased down one of the egg attackers, who was handed over to Hare Street police. Cops brought situation under control.Late in the evening, the advocates of Bankshall court took a resolution that they will not attend the court till the main accused, who are allegedly BJP workers, are arrested.BJP has denied any links to the incident. Byapari was arrested three days back from Coimbatore and was brought to the city on transit remand for allegedly posting objectionable remarks against CM Suvendu Adhikari.
