Gurgaon: Two men were killed and another was injured over 72 hours in and around Kherki Daula in separate hit-and-run accidents.In the first fatal crash, 29-year-old Mansingh was killed after an unidentified vehicle hit him near Sharda Hospital on Tikli Road, Badshahpur, on Sept 18.“His identity remained unknown for five days before his elder brother identified him at the mortuary on Sept 23 after seeing information about the unidentified body in a newspaper,” a police officer said.In the second accident, Duresh Kumar, a carpenter and resident of Kakrola village, was killed after an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle near Rampura flyover around midnight on Sept 24.His brother-in-law Pradeep told police that Duresh was on his way from Manesar when the hit-and-run occurred, throwing him off his bike, after which he succumbed to his injuries.Police reached the spot after receiving information about the crash and shifted the body to the mortuary. “His motorcycle was seized and an FIR under BNS sections related to rash driving and death by negligence has been filed against the unidentified driver,” an officer said.The third accident took place on Sept 22 when Rajvinay Raut was travelling to his workplace in Sector 7, Manesar, from his house in Kakrola village around 6.30am. He told police that a Toyota Rumion hit his vehicle from behind.Raut suffered a deep lacerated wound and deformities near his right ankle along with abrasions on his chest and upper abdomen, according to the medical report. He was initially taken to Silver Streak Hospital in Sector 87 and later shifted to ESIC Hospital in Sector 9.After doctors declared him fit to give a statement, police recorded it and registered an FIR under relevant sections of BNS on Sept 24.
