Varanasi: Four students were injured in an alleged clash between two groups outside the gate of Govt Jubilee Inter College in Bakshipur on Monday afternoon.The incident took place around 1.30 pm, shortly after school hours, police said.According to police, a long-standing dispute between a Class VII student and a Class X student escalated into a brawl when the former allegedly arrived at the school gate with a group of associates and attacked the latter.Police said knives were allegedly used during the scuffle, leaving four students injured.The injured were rushed to the district hospital for treatment. Three were discharged after receiving first aid, while one was referred to a higher medical centre for further treatment.Kotwali police reached the hospital and later took two students into custody for questioning.Circle Officer (Kotwali) Omkar Dutt Tiwari said further action would be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
