More than 100 students took to the stage at Bhartendu Natya Academy as Rang Pathshala, a theatre workshop organised by the Culture Department and Bhartendu Natya Academy, concluded with a theatrical production titled Karmanye Vadhikaraste: Murli Se Matrabhoomi Tak.Written and directed by theatre practitioner Walter Peter, the play traced Lord Krishna’s journey from his birth to the Mahabharata war through a series of key episodes. Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr Rati Shankar Tripathi, Chairman of the Bhartendu Natya Academy; and theatre artists Vijit Singh and Tila Ropa Sapkota were present on the occasion.— Amina Ashraf
