Mumbai: Suburban train services on Central Railway’s main line were affected on Thursday evening after a person climbed onto the roof of a local train at Vikhroli, forcing the railway to switch off the overhead electrical supply and detain the train.The incident also had repercussions on the evening timetable.According to railway sources, the person climbed onto the roof of local train on Dombivali-bound.The train was detained at Kanjurmarg and the OHE supply was switched off at 7.58pm to facilitate the rescue operation.The time at which the power supply was restored at 8.05pmThe incident was the second such case on Central Railway’s main line in three days.On Tuesday, a 29-year-old man suffered burn injuries after climbing onto the roof of a local train at Ghatkopar and coming into contact with an overhead electrical wire.
