Pune: Kondhwa police on Wednesday arrested a 23-year-old ‘influencer’ on the charge of outraging the modesty of a 22-year-old woman.The police said the accused conducts motivational sessions and claims to guide people towards positive thinking. “The complainant had attended the accused’s sessions. He allegedly told her that she was affected by negative energy and claimed that he could free her from it. He then demanded her obscene photographs,” an officer said.The officer said the accused frightened the woman and forced her to share the photographs. After realising the consequences, the woman approached the police and lodged a complaint. The accused was arrested under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Information Technology (IT) Act and Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, the officer said.
