LUDHIANA: CCTV footage from inside the Pizza outlet in J-Block, BRS Nagar, has surfaced, showing two people sitting and talking when a young man wearing a hat entered the premises along with his companion.Moments after entering, one of the accused allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired three shots within three seconds. The hooded accomplice also attempted to load and fire his pistol, but the weapon reportedly failed to discharge.Following the incident, both accused fled the spot and escaped with a third accomplice, who was waiting outside on a Splendor motorcycle.Police have registered an FIR under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) (attempt to murder) and relevant provisions of the Arms Act against unidentified assailants at Police Station Sarabha Nagar.Investigating Officer ASI Davinder Singh said three empty cartridge shells were recovered from the spot. Police officials said CCTV footage is being thoroughly examined to identify the shooters, while an Instagram post linked to the incident is also under investigation.Police said all possible angles are being examined and that further clues are being gathered to establish the identities and whereabouts of the accused.
