MUMBAI: Mumbai police on Friday issued a notification after receiving complaints about inconvenience faced by local residents on St Andrew’s Road in Bandra (West).The Bandra Traffic Division submitted a report on parking arrangements on the road, following which a temporary notification was issued to introduce odd-even parking on St Andrew’s Road Extension for six months from August 15.DCP (Headquarters and Central Division) Dipali Dhate said the changes to the traffic system would remain in effect temporarily from 12 am on Saturday until 12.01 am on February 15, 2027.“To prevent danger, obstruction, and inconvenience to the public, a notification on a temporary basis has been issued to declare St Andrew’s Road Extension as an odd-even parking road,” Dhate said.The order introduced odd-even parking on the stretch between Salsette Catholic Co-op. Hsg. Soc. and Learners Academy, I.C.S.E. School, excluding all types of commercial and heavy vehicles.Parking will be allowed according to the odd and even dates of the month. According to the Gregorian calendar, vehicles can be parked on the eastern side of the road on even dates and on the western side on odd dates.
