World Bank team arrives in AP

A World Bank delegation will visit the state on Tuesday. It is known that the World Bank is providing financial assistance to make RBK-style services available in Ethiopia, an East African country. Already AP Agriculture Department Special CS Poonam Malakondaiah along with a group of representatives of Central Government and World Bank visited Ethiopia last month.

The team headed by Himmat Patel, Senior Consultant, Global Practice, Agriculture and Food, World Bank, will reach Vijayawada at 8.45 am on Tuesday from Delhi to study the innovative policies being implemented in the agricultural sector of AP. Integrated call center at Gannavaram, RBK channel will be visited.

From there they will reach Vanukur of Penamalur mandal and visit the RBK center and meet the farmers. Later visit KVK in Ghantasala. Later, he will reach Vijayawada and meet Agriculture Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy. Various programs implemented by agriculture and allied departments will be examined.
