South Western Railway (SWR) will cancel 45 train services between Yesvantpur, Mangaluru Junction and Karwar in October and November due to track maintenance and engineering works between Shrivagilu and Yedakumeri stations in Mysuru division.The cancellations will affect three train pairs. The Yesvantpur-Mangaluru Junction tri-weekly Express and its return service will be cancelled on 12 days each between Oct 4 and Nov 4.The Yesvantpur-Karwar tri-weekly Express and Karwar-Yesvantpur service will be cancelled on 11 days each between Oct 5 and Nov 3.The Yesvantpur-Mangaluru Junction weekly Express and its return service will be cancelled on three days each — Oct 10, 24 and 31, and Oct 11, 25 and Nov 1, respectively.SWR said the cancellations are required to facilitate line blocks for track maintenance and engineering works.
