Jaipur: Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully Monday demanded report of OBC (Political Representation) Commission should be made public by state govt. He questioned why the findings were kept confidential and alleged that BJP govt was trying to “pit one community against another”.Addressing a meeting of Rajasthan Congress OBC state executive at Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters, Jully said the govt should disclose the commission’s recommendations and clarify what provisions it proposes based on the report.Jully also demanded that the duration of upcoming Assembly session be extended, accusing state govt of avoiding debates on issues concerning the public. He said issues such as the collapse of school buildings, deaths of pregnant women, condition of hospitals and functioning of schemes such as Chiranjeevi and Rajasthan Govt Health Scheme (RGHS) need to be discussed in the House.“What is the hurry? The govt wants to run away within four days. Why does it want to hold discussions on UCC? We will discuss UCC as well. We will not run away,” he said.
