BJP faces setback in Huzurabad as three sarpanches join BRS

Hyderabad: In a setback to BJP in Huzurabad assembly constituency, three sarpanches from Illanthakunta mandal have joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Tuesday. The sarpanches joined in the presence of BRS working president KT Rama Rao and MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy.Those who joined the BRS include Sirisedu Sarpanch Kumar–Shyamala, Vantadupula Sarpanch Rajesh–Madhavi, and Tekurthi Sarpanch Srinivas.Speaking at the meeting, the sarpanches said they joined the BRS because of their faith in the development and welfare initiatives carried out under the leadership of K. Chandrashekar Rao. They criticized the Congress govt, alleging that it had failed to implement its election promises, and also criticized the BJP, claiming it had focused more on politics than on addressing public issues.They further stated that public dissatisfaction with both the Congress and the BJP is increasing at the grassroots level and expressed confidence that more leaders and public representatives are likely to join the BRS in the coming days. The sarpanches also said they have confidence in the leadership of MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, who has been raising public issues in the Huzurabad constituency.ends/
