Times News NetworkPanchkula: Panchkula Police has finalised comprehensive security and traffic arrangements for the state-level Group D Employees’ Induction Programme to be held on July 29 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula.Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the event as chief guest. Extensive preparations are being made to ensure that the programme is conducted safely, peacefully, and smoothly.Panchkula DCP Aditi Singh visited the stadium on Tuesday to inspect security arrangements, parking facilities, VIP movement, entry and exit points, and traffic management. She also held a meeting with officers of the police and other departments.The DCP instructed officials to ensure that the safety of all visitors remained top priority. She also directed them to plan parking arrangements, barricading, entry and exit management, traffic diversions, and emergency vehicle movement in advance.Around 400 police personnel will be deployed at the stadium and along the designated routes during the programme. A special traffic management plan will also be implemented to ensure smooth movement of vehicles.Traffic Advisory:Panchkula Police appealed to people to avoid using the road from Sector 3/21 Traffic Lights to Tau Devi Lal Stadium up to Ghaggar Bridge on July 29 between 8am and 2pm.Citizens have been requested to use alternative routes during this period to help maintain smooth traffic flow and avoid congestion around the venue.
