The corporation, however, expressed concern over reports that some individuals were spreading false information among hired bus owners to further their personal interests. According to the management, it had come to its notice that such individuals were misleading bus owners by claiming that money was required to ‘manage’ govt and TGSRTC officials and were allegedly collecting money from them on that pretext.TGSRTC cautioned that such rumours and misinformation could seriously harm the interests of hired bus owners. It urged them to remain vigilant and not fall prey to unofficial campaigns or claims made by individuals or associations without verification. The corporation advised hired bus owners to rely only on information officially issued by TGSRTC. It warned that anyone acting against the corporation’s rules after being influenced by baseless propaganda would be held responsible for the consequences.Appealing for cooperation, the management said it was committed to maintaining transparency in all its decisions and requested hired bus owners to continue extending their support to the corporation in a peaceful and orderly manner.“The govt had issued orders to induct 293 hired buses into TGSRTC operations. While 237 buses have been deployed, the process for the remaining 56 has been pending for several months. The RTC management is asking us to operate these buses in the districts instead of Hyderabad. We have no objection to that and are ready to ply them wherever the corporation requires. Our only request is that the pending approvals be expedited. The induction process has virtually remained stalled since Dec 2025,” said Telangana State Hire Buses Association state secretary Mahipal Reddy.
