A relative told TOI that she regained consciousness on Thursday and was taken off the ventilator, but was put back on it after her condition deteriorated. “She will undergo surgeries as her jaw was completely broken,” the relative said.The family has alleged that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, police said the claim is under investigation.“The Thar driver has ruined our lives. He has killed our child and now we want stringent punishment for him,” Meenakshi said.Following Divyansh’s death, police added Section 106 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita to the case, which was initially registered under sections 281, 125(a) and 324(4).
