GURUGRAM: Eligible voters in Gurgaon have until the end of Friday to submit their enumeration forms under the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026, with the district administration urging those yet to complete the process to do so either through their Booth Level Officer (BLO) or online via the ECINet portal.Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Gurgaon Uttam Singh said Thursday is the last opportunity for voters to submit the forms to ensure their details are correctly reflected in the electoral roll.Election officials said BLOs continued door-to-door visits across the district on the final day to collect pending forms, while online submissions were also being accepted and verified.According to the administration, the revision exercise aims to update the electoral roll by including all eligible voters and identifying duplicate, deceased and permanently shifted electors in line with Election Commission guidelines. Officials said verification of such cases is being carried out before any changes are made to the voter list.The administration also appealed to residents to encourage eligible family members and neighbours who have not yet submitted their forms to complete the process before the deadline.The district has been carrying out the SIR exercise over the past several weeks as part of the Election Commission’s statewide revision of electoral rolls. After the deadline, election authorities will process the submitted forms before publishing the draft electoral roll as per the notified schedule.“Our teams are working on the ground till the last day. Voters who have not yet submitted their enumeration forms should do so today to ensure their names and details remain correct in the electoral roll,” Uttam Singh said.
