Chandigarh: As many as 73,091 candidates will appear for the Level-3 (PGT) examination of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) on Saturday at 238 examination centres across the state, with the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) claiming to have put in place elaborate security and administrative arrangements for the smooth conduct of the test.BSEH chairman Shankar Lal Dhopra said the question papers had been dispatched from the board headquarters in Bhiwani to district headquarters under tight security in the custody of police personnel and board officials. The examination will be held in the evening session from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.Dhopra said he had personally reviewed the arrangements and inspected the distribution of question papers, directing officials to ensure strict adherence to security protocols. He said maintaining fairness, transparency and confidentiality remained the board’s top priority and all necessary measures had been taken to uphold the integrity of the examination.The board said district administrations and the police have been asked to work in close coordination to ensure peaceful and orderly conduct of the examination. Candidates have been advised to report well before the scheduled time, carrying their admit cards and valid identity proof, and to comply with all instructions issued by the board.
