3 IPS officers, 2 DSPs transferred from Chandigarh to Delhi, J&K

Chandigarh: The ministry of home affairs (MHA) on Thursday transferred three IPS officers and two DSP-rank officers of the DANIPS cadre from the Chandigarh police department to Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir.While SP-rank IPS officers Manjit and his wife Geetanjali Khandelwal have been posted to Delhi, K M Priyanka, who was serving as SP (City), has been transferred to Jammu & Kashmir. Manjit was handling responsibilities at the UT Police headquarters, while Geetanjali was in charge of the cyber cell and operations cell.As part of the reshuffle, Chandigarh has also been allotted three IPS officers. They include Vineet Kumar, a 2018-batch IPS officer currently posted in Delhi, and Rajesh Kumar Sharma, a 2014-batch IPS officer serving in Jammu & Kashmir.Meanwhile, DSP Vikas Sheokand and DSP A Venkatesh of the DANIPS cadre have been transferred from Chandigarh to Delhi. Sheokand was posted in the cyber cell and additionally held charge of the operations cell, while Venkatesh was serving in the UT vigilance department.Chandigarh has also received new officers. Jagtap Kalyani Rajendra, a 2021-batch DANICS officer, has been transferred from Andaman and Nicobar Islands to Chandigarh. In addition, DANIPS officers Satendra Mohan Meena and Patil Swagat Rajkumar have been transferred from Delhi to Chandigarh.
