Mumbai: Worli police on Wednesday booked a 20-year-old man for dangerous driving and endangering life and safety of others, after the car he was driving allegedly at a high speed, overturned after the driver lost control. The accident took place on the Coastal Road and two persons were injured in it.Police identified the accused driver as Manav Chandan. Police sources said that the accident took place on Tuesday at 11.40 pm. “The accused, along with a few friends, was going towards south Mumbai for sightseeing when the accident took place. The car overturned and some people were injured. A police team arrived at the spot and took the injured persons to a hospital. A policeman, Sachin Andhale, lodged the complaint.A case has been registered against the accused driver for dangerous driving causing injury to himself and others in the car and endangering life and safety of others. A probe is on.
