Guwahati: Ahead of singer Zubeen Garg’s first death anniversary, his wife Garima said his death trial was progressing well in the fast-track court.“More than a hundred witnesses have been examined in the case so far. That is all that I know. Whatever people know from outside the court, I know just that much. Beyond that, I feel that commenting too much on the matter could actually be counterproductive and may create unnecessary complications,” she said.Speaking about life without Zubeen, Garima said, “Zubeen is now everywhere. I would say that Zubeen has become much larger than he was before. More than his physical presence, his spiritual presence has become much more immense.”“Zubeen is among us; Zubeen is within everyone. Zubeen belongs to the entire Assamese community. So, Zubeen has become even bigger and is now spreading everywhere,” she added.Garima said Zubeen’s influence, thoughts, ideas and creations were reaching more people. “Everything is expanding and reaching more and more people. That is what is happening now,” she said.
